Overwhelming Issues In Kenya For Syliviana
Sunny,
This is Syliviana.
My country is Kenya and I stumbled on your website
by accident and loved what I got.
I am a trained nurse and took counseling psychology
for my master's degree.
I work with young people and love what I do.
Especially seeing young people coming to their awareness
and becoming responsible citizens.
Sometimes I'm overwhelmed by some of the issues
that I come across and these are what
I would love debriefing on ... and support.
In November one of the young people I was working with
committed suicide, and this incident left me
drained and devastated.
I'm aware I need not take it personally,
but I wondered what did I not to do
to avert this taking place.
I love someone to help me with my client work as a supervisor.
Thank You for your beautiful affirmative post.

Additional Comment -- From Sunny :)
Some things are beyond our control, Syliviana.
It is good of You to ask and to reflect on this inquiry.
I believe it may be more productive for You to ask Yourself:
"What did I do right?"
"How did I help this troubled youth?"
"How have I helped others?"
"How may I help again."
Keep Up Your Excellent Work, Syliviana.
